Do I have to wear a helmet?
We require that all Flyboard of Vermont users wear a water sport helmet. (Provided)

Do I need to wear a Life Jacket (PFD)?
We require that all Flyboard of Vermont users wear a Life Jacket or PFD. (Provided)

Do I need to wear a Wetsuit?
We require that all Flyboard of Vermont users wear a Wetsuit. (Provided) It’s not for cold water, Bootleggers Basin is normally in the mid-70s, but it helps reduce the impact when you fall into the water.

What are the restrictions like age, weight, etc?
Minimum age requirement is 13 years old with parents consent. 18+ without. For safety reasons expecting mothers, persons with back, neck, heart, balance and/or dizziness conditions are restricted. Cameras not allowed for safety.

What should I bring with me to Flyboard?
Reservation confirmation sheet, swim suit, towel, ID & water to stay hydrated.
PLEASE ARIVE 15-20 MINUTES EARLY.

Where do you run the Flyboarding and how can I get there?
We offer Flyboarding lessons at Bootleggers Basin at Smugglers Notch Resort.
There is a FREE shuttle service from the resort. Call extension 7000 for pickup.

Will the board fit on my feet?
The Flyboard of Vermont boots will fit sizes 6-14.

Is Flyboarding hards to learn?
Flyboarding takes a little balance and feet coordination but its very easy to learn. Most are able to learn in about 10 minutes.

What powers the Flyboard?
The Flyboard is powered by a jetski.  A hose is fitted from the ski to the board and the water pressure lifts you.

Will the Flyboard make me sink?
No. The board floats.

Will; the Flyboard push you under water when you fall?
No. You will be with a Certified Flyboard Instructor or Operator of which are trained to observe safety. They will cut the thrust as soon as the Flyboard user enters the water, floating you to the surface.

What is the depth of the water that the Flyboard needs to operate?
The operating depth of the Flyboard must be 12 feet minimum.

How hight does the Flyboard go?
The maximum height is about 45ft.; however, our instructors will only take you as high as your own height if you feel comfortable.

How long are the lessons and how much do they cost?
Each lesson is approximately 45 minutes: 10 minutes on land getting wetsuit, life jacket and helmet on as well as going over basic operation, safety & proper use of the equipment. Then 30 minutes of fly time in the water. (or should we say in the air) Normal cost is $199 but we have a “New Flyer” SPECIAL for $129 per person for a limited time.
